NBC Sports has announced that Leigh Diffey will serve as the lead play-by-play voice for its NASCAR Cup Series coverage.

Beginning immediately, Diffey will call the remaining races of the 2024 season, including the championship race at Phoenix.

Diffey is a seasoned motorsports commentator with over two decades of experience covering NASCAR, Formula 1, and other major racing series.

He has called races for NBC Sports since 2013 and is known for his passionate and knowledgeable commentary.
